On April 24^th, Lise Galuga, Executive Director of the Izzy Doll Initiative, and Colonel J.T. Galuga, Canadian Defence Attaché to France, presented nine Izzy Doll shadow boxes to local mayors and community leaders to honour the Franco-Canadian friendship with the “80 Izzy Dolls for the 80th” Project.

MGen Daniel Benjamin (Ret’d) will hand the duties of Colonel Commandant to LGen Paul Wynnyk (Ret’d) on 1 May 2025 at the Carling Campus pavilion (60 Moodie Drive in Ottawa.

Three Royal Canadian Engineer veterans of the Korean War were awarded the King Charles Coronation Medal by Senator Yonah Martin in Burnaby BC.

The photo shows Ralph De Coste, Doug Germaine, and Leo Valentine with Senator Yonah Martin at the Coquitlam Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion where the ceremony was held.

Canadian Military Engineer Family, we need your input !

The Chief Military Engineer team is beginning the initial planning for the 125^th Anniversary coming up in 2028 and we need input from ALL our engineers. 
We are conducting a short survey to capture your opinions on logos and interest in volunteering for committees as part of the CME 125^th Anniversary.

In the last few weeks, the Chief of Defence Staff promoted two fellow engineers: Jonathan Michaud to Brigadier-General and Lydia Évéquoz to Colonel. They have both worked extremely hard to get to their current rank and we are fortunate to have their leadership and the support of their families, who they credited with their success!
