We regret to advise of the death of Firefighter Master Corporal Jean-Claude “Jake” Jacob, CD (Ret’d) on 5 December 2025 at the age of 81 years.
Jake served his career wit the Royal Canadian Air Force and the Canadian Military Engineers as a Firefighter. He served at the following locations from the early 1960s to mid-1990s: Royal Canadian Air Force Station LaMacaza QC, Canadian Forces Base Chatham NB, CFB North Bay ON, CFS Chibougamau QC and CFB St-Jean QC. Jake retired from CFB St-Jean and settled there in his retirement.
The family will receive expressions of condolences on Saturday, 24 January 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Claude LeSieur Funeral Complex {530 4e rue Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu QC}. A tribute to life will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Complex. Online condolences can be sent to the funeral home.
