Cpl Howard Craig Howard, CD (Ret’d)

We regret to advise of the death of Corporal Howard Craig Howard, CD (Ret’d) of Burlington ON, peacefully on 30 March 2023, at the age of 61 years.

th birthday during basic training with the Infantry in 1979. He spent almost two decades as an Infantryman with the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, travelling the world, serving his country with bravery and honour. 

Craig remustered to the Draughtsman trade and joined the Canadian Military Engineers. His service with 1 Combat Engineer Regiment  included an UNPROFOR [UN Protection Force (Yugoslavia)] tour in 1992-1993. Craig was extremely proud of his service and remembered his time in the military fondly.

Craig retired from the Canadian Forces in 1996. He then pursued a career in engineering technology working as a Certified Engineering Technologist. He had a successful career working for several companies over the years.

Visitation will be held at Smith’s Funeral Home, 485 Brant Street in Burlington on Thursday, 6 April 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Online condolences can be sent to the funeral home.
