CMEA Welcomes New Brief Editor

Published October 10, 2026

The CMEA welcomes Neeham Khalid as editor of our weekly News Brief. Since last April, when Neeham was first introduced to the news-gathering process, he has steadily taken on more responsibility and, for the past two months, has been fully responsible for gathering, curating, and distributing the CMEA Newsbrief. We are grateful for Neeham’s volunteer efforts and those of his team of news gatherers.

The CMEA News Brief depends on the support of our members and corporate sponsors. Members are encouraged to submit items of interest to the CME community, including local news, achievements of our members and units, upcoming events, and other noteworthy activities. While we very much appreciate original articles, news items from media sources are also welcome. Local news outlets and base newspapers are often excellent sources. If you see something you think is worth sharing, please send the URL and article title to the News Team Lead for inclusion in that week’s edition. If you have an original article that should be published on our website, please send it “ready for print” to the Webmaster. Once published, Neeham will include it in the Newsbrief.

Corporate sponsors can also support the Newsbrief by purchasing advertising space, typically as banners at the top of the publication or as separators between groups of articles. In addition to helping offset the cost of producing and distributing the Newsbrief, these sponsorships provide a small financial benefit to the CMEA. If you have a suggestion for a potential corporate sponsor, please send it to our Engagement & Outreach team.
