We regret to advise of the death of Master Warrant Officer James “Jimmi” Goulette, CD (Ret’d) of Calgary AB, on Tuesday, 6 January 2026, at the age of 74.
Jim was born in Chatham NB. He enlisted in the Canadian Forces in 1968 and served with the Canadian Military Engineers for 27 years as a Construction Engineering Procedures Technician. In addition to his postings to Canadian Forces bases, Jimmi served twice as an instructor at the Canadian Forces School of Military Engineering and had United Nations peacekeeping deployment. He retired as a Master Warrant Officer in 1995.
A Celebration of Jim’s life was held at the 238 Bowness Legion {138 Bowness Center NW} on 17 January 2026 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Veterans Food Bank. Online condolences can be sent to the funeral home.
