We regret to advise of the death of Sapper Gregory W. “Bud” Guscott (Ret'd) on 18 February 2003 at the North Bay General Hospital in his 82nd year.
Bud was born in Brantford On. He was a Royal Canadian Engineers veteran who served overseas during the Second World War. On his return from the war, Bud worked in various sales positions, eventually managing Owl-Lite Equipment and James North Ltd., and retiring from Christa Beef Distributors. Bud was also a Life Member of Branch #23 of the Royal Canadian Legion in North Bay and had recently received his pin marking fifty-five years of Legion membership.
Family will receive friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home in North Bay and a funeral service will be conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will take place at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
