We regret to advise of the death of Sapper Austin WIlliam McClure of Edmonton AB on 22 September 2018 at the age of 91 years.
Austin was born in Edmonton. He joined the Canadian Army near the end of the Second World War and served in the 59th Independent Field Squadron, Royal Canadian Engineers in Korea from March 1953 until March 1954. He left the army shortly after that and returned to Edmonton, where he later married and raised a family.
Spr McClure is buried in Westlawn Memorial Gardens in Edmonton.
