The village of Martintown, first known as MacMartin’s Mills, was established between 1801-1803. Martintown is located on the Raisin River, in the township of South Glengarry, north of Cornwall. The three United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry were well known to have sent many young men to serve in both World Wars.

Lieutenant G.A. Hickson, DCM, MM Memorial Bursary to Ms Ashley Granter, a student at Memorial University in St John's. With the assistance of CWO Doug Payne, RSM of 37 CER, Ms Granter is receiving the framed certificate from BGen Tony Stack (Ret'd), former CO of 56 Field Engineer Squadron and Deputy Commander of Land Force Atlantic.
Captain Philippe Bolduc was recently deployed on Operation IMPACT (Op IMPACT) between Nov 2020 - Apr 2021 as the Construction Engineer Troop Commander (CE TP Comd) within the Operation Support Hub - Southwest Asia (OSH-SWA) in Camp Canada, Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait. He has written a full account of his experiences on that tour describing the significant contribution of construction engineers deployed on that mission.

We continue to reflect the many different facets of the CME, all those serving in the Regular or Reserve force, as well as those retired and family members, and now those who continue to support their primary reserve unit after service.
