We regret to advise of the death of Captain Robert Allan Faulkner, (Ret’d) on 5 January 2026 at Port Perry Place in Port Perry ON at age 79.
Bob served with the Canadian Military Engineer Family as both a uniformed officer and as a Civil Engineer Construction Project Manager with the Public Service with the Department of National Defence in Ottawa
Bob was a graduate of Ryerson University. After an early assignment as the Station Construction Engineer at Canadian Forces Station Ramore ON, he was selected for Post-Graduate training at the Royal Military College Kingston. Graduating in 1975, he then joined the Base Construction Engineering Section at Canadian Forces Base Ottawa. Staying in Ottawa, Bob was posted to the Construction Engineering Management and Policy staff at National Defence Headquarters (1979-81) followed by a tour with the Construction Engineering staff at Communications Command Headquarters. Bob retired from the Canadian Forces after this posting and joined the Public Service as a Construction Project Manager for his second career.
Interment will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert, at a later date. Online condolences can be sent to the funeral home
